The revenue of the 24 largest international companies operating in the region reached $169.7 billion in 2015, down 14 percent from the $197 billion in 2014, according to Latin Trade’s Multinational Index for the fourth-quarter and whole year 2015. Almost all companies in the index saw their revenues fall last year, which saw the region hit by falling oil prices and a slowdown in China’s economy, among other more local factors for each country. But there are growth champions, such as Spain’s Gas Natural Fenosa, with revenues reaching $10.2 billion, up from $8.2 billion in 2014.
