Multilatina Index: Embraer, CMPC and Femsa growth champs in fourth-quarter

The top 25 Multilatina corporations reported a total revenue of $100.7 billion in the fourth-quarter of 2015. The figure is down from the $124 billion from the same period in 2014. As expected due to the current political and economic turmoil, some Brazilian firms saw the revenues drop the most, for example: Gerdau with -30 percent; Vale with -35 percent and Marfrig with -37 percent. But not all is bad news for the 25 firms. Among the success stories are aerospace conglomerate Embraer (up 1.4 percent), Chile’s CMPC (up 4 percent) and Mexico’s Femsa (up 7 percent). This index also includes and compares figures from 2013 through 2015. To view and download the full document, click below: Multilatina-Index-4Q2015
