The 200 most profitable companies in Latin America: The Latin Trade Profitability Drivers Index 1Q2022

Almost 200 listed companies in Latin America with more than US$300 million in revenues made it to the top of Latin Trade’s Profitability Drivers Index 1Q2022. The Mexican subsidiary of U.S. personal care firm Kimberly Clark was the most profitable in the region during the first quarter of 2022 with a Return on Equity (ROE) of 69%. Brazilian Comgas, with a ROE of 53.6%, ranked second. These were the only two companies with a ROEs above 50%.
