Germany’s Volkswagen, U.S. oilfield services firm Halliburton and Swedish home appliance manufacturer Electrolux saw the biggest increases in revenues in Latin Trade’s Multinational Index for the third quarter of 2019. Volkswagen delivered some 308,800 units in Brazil, up 17.6 percent from the same quarter a year before. Deliveries in Argentina and Mexico however, declined 41 percent and 7.7 percent respectively. For its part, Halliburton reported a 6 percent increase in revenues in Latin America in the third quarter, reaching $608 million, pushed mainly by higher activity in multiple product service lines in Argentina, increased testing activity and artificial lift sales across the region and improved fluids activity in Mexico.
