Medium-sized companies in Latin America show a larger sustained Capex rate than small or large corporations, according to a new graph by Latin Trade (see below). Most large companies in the region use raw materials, partucularly oil, and the declining price of many of these materials has affected these companies’ ability to invest. But the figures for medium companies could indicate that there is a “critical point” for investment according to their size. These companies may have reached a multinational scale where their investments have become very profitable.
