Top 100 Banks in Latin America 2021

Brazilian banks were the top performers in Latin Trade’s most recent ranking of the Top 100 Banks in Latin America. Brazilian institutions dominate the top six spots in the list, which ranks banks by total assets. Among the top six are Itaú Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal and Bradesco. The total assets of these top six banks equate to 82 percent of the total assets of the other 94 banks. In seventh, eighth and ninth spots are Mexican banks, including BBVA Mexico, Santander Mexico and Banorte.
