Colombia’s GNB Sudameris is the winner in terms of asset growth Latin Trade’s most recent ranking of the Top 100 Banks in Latin America 2018. GNB Sudameris saw its assets reach $10.5 billion, compared with the $7 billion from 2017, making it the bank with the strongest asset growth and the leader in the Winners sub-ranking. The second spot in the Winners sub-ranking also belongs to a Colombian bank. Bogotá-based Davivienda posted a 36.9 percent asset growth, from $25.2 billion in 2017, to $34.5 billion in 2018.
