The 25 largest multinationals operating in Latin America saw their revenues from the region contract 3 percent to $1.3 billion in the second quarter, compared with the same period a year ago, Latin Trade’s most recent MNC Index shows. The figure contrasts with the companies’ global operations, which grew 3.6 percent in the period. Spanish energy company Iberdrola had the best performance, with a 123 percent growth in its Latin American operations, maintaining the first spot in the index.
