The total net income of Latin America’s largest 1,000 companies reached $121 billion, a big improvement from last year’s $95.1 billion, Latin Trade’s most recent LT1000 ranking shows. The sectors covered in the ranking include finance, insurance, oil, and gas, telecommunications, energy, mining, food and beverage, construction, pulp and paper, trade, transport, vehicle and parts, chemicals, metals, textile, agribusiness and more. The ranking includes the following figures for each firm: Total assets and revenues compared with the previous year, as well as EBITDA and net income.
