Multilatina Index First Quarter 2018

A loss in confidence, low growth forecasts and uncertainty with regards to elections throughout Latin America have hit the financial results of the region’s 25 largest companies, Latin Trade’s latest Multilatina Index First Quarter 2018 shows. Revenues of the companies grew 4.9 percent in the period, compared with 7.5 percent in the same quarter a year ago. Argentina’s Tenaris, a unit of Techint Group, led growth for the first quarter, with revenues up 58.5 percent in the period.
