Latin America’s Top Trade Partners 2016

France’s total trade with Latin America grew 16 percent in 2015, reaching more than $25.5 billion, making it the country with the highest percentage in growth according to Latin Trade’s Latin America’s Top Trading Partners 2016. French exports to the region totalled $16.5 billion, up 11 percent from the year before, while imports reached $13 billion, 24 percent more than 2014. But in terms of total trade, the U.S. remains Latin America’s top trade partner, with $851.3 billion in 2015, although the figure shows an 8 percent drop compared with the year before.
