Goodyear to combine North and Latin America units

Multinational manufacturer will open a new plant in Mexico in 2017 Global manufacturer Goodyear has announced it will combine its North America and Latin America businesses effective January 1, 2016, the company said in a statement. “While the two former regions approach their markets differently, there also are many increasing similarities, especially the growth of high-value-added tires,” said Goodyear chairman and CEO Richard J.
