Korea-Latin America Trade: Mexico rises as top trading partner

By David Ramirez Trade flows between Korea and Latin America fell 3 percent in 2014, to $48.9 billion, according to LT’s Korea-Latin America Trade Rankings. The trend is the consequence of a 4 percent contraction of Korean exports to the region –reflecting sluggish economic growth– whereas imports from Latin America remained practically unchanged (0.3 percent up), albeit a slight recovery in Korea’s GDP growth.
