Multilatina Index: LATAM Airlines climbs 33 percent

The new merger between LAN and TAM saw its 2013 revenues grow 33 percent – though they were down for the quarter.

In the latest multilatina index – which measures the fourth quarter 2013, and overall 2013 findings for 25 multilatinas from diverse industries – LATAM, the airline born from the merger of LAN and TAM saw the highest year-over-year growth of any company on the index. The company saw revenues climb 33 percent from a year ago $12.9 billion. However, the company saw a less successful 4Q: revenues declined then by 2.1 percent to almost $3.4 billion.
