Latin Americans are the world’s second-most active social media users, and are more likely to report a higher return on investment in social media use than users in Europe or North America. Such are the findings of the a recent study by Tata Consulting Services (TCS), “Mastering Digital Feedback: How the Best Consumer Companies Use Social Media.” The study is a global comparison of social media use among 655 enterprises with revenues of at least $1 billion; within Latin America, 58 companies were surveyed. TCS President and Global Head of TCS Digital Enterprise SatyaRamaswamy spoke with LBC about the report’s findings, and how Latin American companies are using and can better use social media to improve their bottom line.
