This quarter’s Multilatina Index from Latin Business Chronicle shows that Latin America’s top 25 multilatinas saw combined revenues of $124.4 billion, up 1.7 percent from the same quarter last year. Oil and gas companies (represented solely by Brazil’s Petrobras) continued to lead for revenues, making up nearly a quarter of all revenues in the index with $35.5 billion this quarter – up almost $1 billion or 2.6 percent. But the largest growth in percentage terms went to the retail sector, which saw growth of 11.3 percent, or $800 million. Mining saw the largest decline year over year, falling over $1 billion, or 7.9 percent.
