French retailer Casino and Finnish wireless producer Nokia gain most among multinationals in Latin America.



French retailer Groupe Casino, which is in the midst of a major dispute with its Brazilian partner CBD, can take comfort in the fact that it outperforms its multinational peers in Latin America in revenue growth.


Casino managed to boost second quarter revenues in Latin America by 68 percent, compared with the multinational average of 27.2 percent, according to the latest Latin Multinational Index from Latin Business Chronicle.


The index tracks quarterly performance of 24 multinational companies operating in Latin America measuring their revenues in dollar terms.
