Lieblein:  Let the Job Speak for Itself

Getting too tied up in gender, dilutes efforts by female executives, argues GM Mexico head Grace Lieblein.

When Grace D. Lieblein assumed the position as President and Managing Director of GM de Mexico in December 2008, being a female executive was the least of her challenges.

She took over the job just as both the U.S. and Mexican economies were melting down. Mexico last year ended up with a 6.5 percent decline, its worst performance since 1932.
