Latin Trade owner Miami Media acquires Latin Business Chronicle.

Miami Media LLC, the owner of Latin Trade magazine, LatinTrade.com and the BRAVO Business Awards, has acquired Latin Business Chronicle.
Already the second most popular Latin American business news and research web site, according to Google search rankings, Latin Business Chronicle will become a division of LatinTrade.com – itself the third-ranked digital destination for business news in the region.
“This acquisition marks an important milestone for our readers and marketing clients,” said Miami Media chairman Richard Burns. “No other company can provide the breadth or depth of our multimedia offering of print, online and live events for professionals doing business in the hemisphere.”

Miami Media LLC owns Latin Trade magazine, the BRAVO Business Awards, the Bravo Council Series, Latin Trade’s CFO Forums and CMO Forums, LatinTrade Online and LT Hospitality Media which is led by SPLENDID, the in-room magazine for IHG (InterContinental Hotel Group) Latin America & the Caribbean. Miami Media is a subsidiary of Manhattan Media, a New York-based community media company (http://www.manhattanmedia.com/). Both companies are chaired by Richard Burns and financed by Isis Venture Partners. Miami Media is managed by its co-presidents: Maria Lourdes Gallo and Rosemary Winters.
