Brazil and Venezuela help NewMarket Technology post another strong year in revenues and profits.

Thanks to continued strong demand in Brazil and Venezuela, NewMarket Technology posted another banner year in Latin America.
"All of them grew tremendously," says NewMarket CEO Philip Verges. "All of them grew both the top and bottom lines."
The U.S.-based system integration company reached more than $20 million in Latin America sales last year. That compares with about $16 million in 2006, says NewMarket CEO Philip Verges. Meanwhile, net income reached $8 million.
NewMarket's best-selling products in Latin America are brand name products from its partners like Oracle, SAP and Microsoft. In Brazil and Chile a large part of the business is handled by its subsidiary UniOne, which boasts clients like Avon, Brasil Telecom, DHL and Movistar.
