Latin America 2008: Technology Outlook

Latin America is expected to see another year of strong technology growth, leading hardware and software executives say. 

"The prospects for the IT industry are quite promising,” says Rui da Costa, managing director for Latin America and Caribbean for U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard, the worlds largest PC producer. “We expect to see continued investments by corporations in IT as a means to gain a competitive edge at home and in the global markets.”
