Dominican Republic: Energy Problems Continue

Blackouts continue in the Dominican Republic thanks to massive fraud and theft.

Last week, US-based Trust Company of the West (TCW) announced it was suing the Dominican government for $680 million due to loss of income and cash flow in EdeEste, a distribution company it acquired in 2004 from US-based AES Corporation.
