BY CHRONICLE STAFF
October marks a record month for Latin Business Chronicle. Less than a week before the month ended, we hit the one million mark in terms of hits. We ended October with a total of 1.2 million hits, 369,741 pageviews and 16,437 unique visitors. That compares with 860,182 hits, 245,955 page views and 11,414 unique visitors in September.
While key markets like the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom all saw healthy growth, the traffic increase was also helped by significant increases from France, Brazil, China and India.
France, for example, went from 5,338 hits in September to 16,813 in October, while India went from 7,357 hits to 13,676 hits.
The increase is likely the result of a combination of factors, including references by USA Today, NewsMax, the Federation of International Trade Associations (FITA) and a debate in Panama over whether the country’s real estate boom was real or not after we published a guest column by Walter Molano at BCP.
