The top 50 energy companies in Latin America in general saw good results in 2017, with 40 of the firms reporting growth in their revenues, Latin Trade’s most recent Energy Companies ranking shows. The growth champions were Iberdrola, with revenues growing 126 percent from the year before to $7.4 billion; Enel, up 60 percent and Mexico’s CFE, up 41 percent. But there were some significant drops in the companies that reported negative results. The steepest drop was for Brazil’s Furnas, with revenues down 56 percent. The ranking includes data for revenues, profits, assets, winners and losers, each compared with the year before. To view and download, click below:
