The list encompasses the region’s business elite, including the heads of Latin American and international major corporations, financial institutions, energy companies, retailers, food and beverage companies, transportation and logistics companies, hoteliers, and technology companies. The ability to establish and operate a business in Latin America has improved in the past year, according to our Latin Entrepreneur Index. While lower commodity prices and slower economic growth may be the “new normal” for Latin America, the region’s business environment from a legal perspective continues to show improvements according to the latest data from our Latin Entrepreneur Index. The region’s average score improved to 74.90 – an improvement of 4.74 points from last year’s score of 79.64. Latin Trade reports.
